As a member of the Earth citizen, Macktron actively cares for global climate change, resource conservation and sustainable development and other issues, fulfilling corporate social responsibility and jointly safeguarding the overall ecological environment.

We focus on energy saving, waste management, greenhouse gas emissions and green products and other aspects, complying with relevant laws and regulations and improving continuously. We also advocate to our upstream suppliers the international regulations on the production process, the environmental requirements of the products and future environmental trends. Macktron guarantees the compliance of its products with international regulations and customer requirements to enable Macktron to obtain major domestic and international customers’ recognition as its green partners to work together to care for our environment.

As a member of manufacturing industry, Macktron promotes waste reduction and resource conservation as an important corporate responsibility and policy. We are committed to reach “improving energy saving performance, upgrading energy saving technology, enhancing energy efficiency rate, and reducing energy consumption per product unit”. In addition, we plan budget based on short -, medium- and long-term goals, assign energy conservation administrator to report on energy consumption periodically, hoping to reduce energy consumption and improve continuously.

In Nov. 2013, Macktron set energy saving targets into short-, medium- and long-term targets. The short-term target of reducing energy consumption by 2% should be achieved in 1-2 years. The medium-term target of reducing energy consumption by 4% should be achieved in 3-4 years; while, the long-term, by 6% in 5-6 years.

  • Public equipment: System integration is implemented. Based on plant system operation, inverter models will be considered to achieve energy saving automation of equipment.
  • Production equipment: The standby time and mode of production equipment of individual production lines are adjusted to reduce unnecessary energy consumption with automatic control programs.
  • Lighting system: After assessing the lighting demand of the entire plant, T8 lights will gradually be replaced by LED lamps, and illuminance will be also be adjusted to reduce energy consumption.

Ji’an Plant formed the energy conservation team in 2014 to implement energy saving and emission reduction. A number of relevant projects were also implemented, such as electrical circuit modification, production line optimization, and installation of energy-saving and water-saving devices. After confirming “waste reduction, resource saving, and continual improvement” as the basic energy-saving policy, the team research and extend energy saving work and supervise work enforcement.

Targeting at “improving energy saving performance, upgrading energy-saving technology, enhancing energy efficiency rate, and reducing unit product energy consumption”, we hope to protect the environment while cutting expenses at the same time through continuous efforts.

Major energy saving technology transformation and status of implementation

Compressor Waste Heat Recovery Project: The total investment of RMB 1.29 million was recovered in 13 months and the project was completed in July 2015. After project completion, compressor waste heat was used to heat up the entire plant II (air-conditioning), the pure water refill system in plant I, and the domestic water of two employee dormitories. In terms of heat energy, this is equivalent to the heat generated by 20 mt of diesel each month and saved up to RMB 170,000 on heat supply.

Effluents and Waste

Macktron adheres to environmental regulations. In 2011, Macktron implemented the ISO14001 environmental management system to enforce environmental improvement, adopted a better pollution management system and ensured the system is effectively operated and maintained through internal audits and reviews to control the environmental pollution by Effluents and Waste for continuous reduction of effluent discharge and enhancement of waste recycling rate.


  1. Establish the effluent treatment site, implement and enforce self-monitoring and self-management, and coordinate with the audit of environmental protection authorities.
  2. Plan biological treatment facilities, improve effluent quality, promote water saving, reduce discharge.
  3. We have established the classified waste disposal standards to manage and dispose of waste by characteristics and assigned qualified waste disposal contractors to trace waste disposal flow and recycle reusable materials.

GHG Emissions

Global warming has become a global and major environmental issue. Macktron realizes the impact of GMG emissions on the environment, and ecology. To realize sustainable development, Macktron has been implementing GHG emission inventory and control aggressively, hoping to mitigate global warming and achieve sustainable energy development to ensure resource efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection towards a low-carbon industrial development.

From 2015 onwards, Ji’an Plant implement GHG emission inventory every year and produce the GHG report to conclude GHG emissions in the last year. In 2017, GHG emission was 14% less than the emission standard in 2015, showing a declining trend.
